"We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District."

"Turned up to the hotel to be told we didn’t have a booking. Zero empathy or customer service. I had driven 3 hours and myself and my 1 year old had no place to stay and hotels.com weren’t able to relocate us so had to drive home. "

"Absolutely loved our stay here! Modern, clean and so cosy!! The bed is the comfiest bed i have ever slept in away from home...so much so we kept doing starfishes in excitement 🤣 Good sleep is so important after a solid day of hiking so very much appreciated. Shower again was amazing after a day out hiking in the rain ❤️ Brilliant location for all the places we visited.Will definitely be returning."

"The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage."

"Very comfortable flat in great location for touring the Peak District. Good restaurant choices but also we chose to stay in two nights with good shopping at Waitrose. Excellent communication with hosts. Felt fully supported during our stay. Would definitely come back"

"Good points: Really clean and lovely apartment, right in the town with a nearby carpark that is free from 3:30pm - 9:30am. Lots of handy sockets too which a lot of hotel rooms lack. The apartment has everything you need to be self sufficient. Not so good points: Check in was supposed to have been from 3pm but was told on my day of arrival I couldn’t check in until 4pm. The shower had a faulty temperature control so had been removed and set to what was supposed to be a comfortable temperature...
