"Truly an amazing, secluded retreat in the hills in Tuscany. Make sure you have a car with some ground clearance, the last mile up the hill is an attraction on its own. The host Barbara is amazing, as well as her family's horse farm and the cook (can be hired for an private dinner), who also started a vineyard visible from the house.The building is old (12th century), but well furnished, has a great pool, great kitchen and of course great views! Vicchio is about 20 min (including the downhill) and has a train station with a train to florence (1hr for 6 euro) as well as a super market. Basically all the ingredients for an awesome holiday.We had an amazing time."

"We loved the house. It was a lovely, comfortable house with amazing views over the countryside. The bed was soo comfy. We were greeted by the young lady who looks after the house for the owner and nothing was too much trouble. She made us feel so welcome. We also had 2 calls from the owner checking in to see if all was ok. We have no hesitation in recommending the house and the local area. This was our first trip to Italy for us for a "special" birthday celebration and we will definitely be back!"

"Wir waren mit einer Konfirmandengruppe für 6 Tage im Casale Giotto und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Claudia im Vorfeld war sehr angenehm und die Betreuung von Laura und ihrem Mann vor Ort sehr entspannt und unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön auf einer typischen Toskaner Anhöhe, schön umgeben von Weinbergen und Pinien. Das Haus ist abgelegen und ruhig und es war kein Problem, wenn unsere jungen Leute etwas lauter waren. Die Einrichtung ist italienisch-rustikal, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass eine Selbstverpflegung kein Problem war. Die Nähe zu Florenz haben wir für einen Tagesausflug genutzt. In der Nähe des Hauses (ca. 10 Minuten Autofahrt) findet man diverse Möglichkeiten einzukaufen. Besonders begeistert waren wir, dass für uns extra der Pool befüllt wurde. Wir können das Casale nur wärmsten weiterempfehlen."

"The location is great, it is up on a mountain past Londa but to get to it you need to go up some ver inclined hills, definitely a different experience for someone looking to be away from the big city. The host was a very attentive super friendly guy that made sure we got there safe and was always there to help us. "
