"This house was a great homebase for our group. Good location, comfortable stay, nice communal spaces, small playground nearby for toddlers, a beautiful front porch, and nice screened in patio as well. Hot tub a nice added benefit. Would stay there again!"

"This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at this property for our "girls trip" and we love this place. There is plenty of room to hang out and we enjoy relaxing on the porch. The hosts are easy to communicate with and answered our questions quickly. We love that this place is close to town but in a quiet, relaxing location. I highly recommend."

"We had a great time at the Owl House. It was clean, and perfect for the two of us. We loved sitting on the sun porch/dining area. We loved the snacks and drinks that were provided, and the souvenir owl. We played a few records, sat in the screened in porch, and just hung out. No complaints. Parked on Friday and walked everywhere in Galena. Hope to be back soon."

"Our stay was cut short due to the weather. The location was good for going to Galena and around Dubuque. Were allowed to drop off our personal items early which was nice. Sad the hot tub had leak we were looking forward to using. The bed main floor was comfortable. My daughter stated upstairs was not and she didnt get a lot of sleep."
