"Amazing grounds, lots of different areas to it. Staff very helpful. It was lovely to see young people being so professional during the wedding celebration. Bathroom a bit rundown in need of maintenance. Unfortunately, buffet breakfast could be improved."

"My bijou little room was on the first floor of the inn (as opposed to some rooms they have in separate buildings). Quite a nice little room but no view and I had to climb onto the bed to open the velux window. When I opened the bathroom window I had unfortunate cooking smells from the kitchen extractor which was a few feet away, so I only opened it outside meal times. There was no information in the room so I had to wait until the morning to get the WiFi code - I think this should have been...

"This is a very peaceful and comfortable space. It is relatively “low-tech”, I.e you open the doors with keys rather than a card. It is one of my favourite places to stay. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is quality and the grounds are beautiful. I highly recommend"

"The setting for this hotel is exceptional- directly overlooking the Thames and open countryside. The hotel is conveniently situated, only a ten minute walk from the station and five minutes walk from the High Street. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, wonderful pool and good breakfast. "This is my hometown and I was visiting from Canada. Lovely room nice and clean. I ended up with an accessible room which was lovely but no drawers or cupboard to store clothes which was a bit odd. Front desk staff awesome and friendly lots of tea and coffee for the room The one gentleman in the restaurant made my stay with giving me ice and being so chipper they breakfasts are a fantastic deal I’ll be back Please consider placing fridges in the room!
