"Beautiful hotel in the centre of Leeds, shops, bars and restaurants all close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Dean and his colleague on reception when we checked in as they recommended 2 amazing restaurants. Dean was fantastic and always warm and friendly whenever you saw him. Loved this hotel and would happily go back. "

"Hotel and location great. Toilet blocked in the morning and we told reception when we went to breakfast but still wasn’t fixed when we came back an hour later. Had to call again and insist someone comes to sort out it as there isn’t a toilet brush in the room, finally someone came but initially they said there were no maintenance people , it was 7:30 am when we first told them "

" This hotel is certainly outdated and in need of a refurbishment. That said the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lunch which was good with a selection for vegetarian and lovely puddings. This is an ideal place for walkers or cyclists who maybe on a limited budget but want privacy and a lovely warm bath at the end of a day on the Pennines. "

"See below list of issues: Damaged & dirty furniture in the bedroom. Mattress needed replacing. Bathroom - dated shower, toilet not flushing, extractor dirty and damaged. Emergency signage, non existent. The hotel reception over charged us with no apology, they took our credit card away from reception and ~I demand they haver to return with it. "
