It was clean, the bed was comfy and the quiet seclusion of the property was exactly what we were looking for! Plus, it was so close to the Hocking Hills Park! The host was gracious and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. The only suggestion I would make is that the water softener needs to be balanced."

"I didn’t realize there were no bedrooms. The VRBO says two bedrooms, but it is two mattresses in two lofts with one set of steps. Only one of the three of us could climb steps so the place was hard for us. I feel like the description is not clear. However; if there were only two of us I would stay again."

"We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance."

"Perfect spot for a family vacation! Beds were comfy and rental was very clean and had everything we needed. Note there's no oven, but there is a two-burner hot plate and large toaster so it's easy to prepare meals. The only negative was the road noise at night. Cars zoom past at high speed and the white noise machine didn't cover it up."

"We had a great stay at the Aspen Haus with book hocking. It was very cozy and clean with most everything you could think of! The decor was very well planned and designed, which we enjoyed. There were two AC units in our cabin which was helpful with one being in the bedroom and one in the main area, we could shut doors and sleep at different preferred temps. The stove/oven in our cabin was out of order but we arrived to a hot plate and toaster oven brand new so we were still able to cook and bake...
