"This was an excellent place to stay. Although the menu choices were limited (2 each of starter, main and dessert) we thought that was wholly understandable given the hotel was catering for around 20 - 25 people per day. The food was beautifully cooked. The rooftop pool was a great place to unwind (with the happy hour drinks between 5 and 7pm) before heading to the restaurant. "A slice of heaven. Discovered this place 0n a day trip a year ago and knew we had to return for a stay. Now we have to return for several days. So comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who likes wine or not. Love this place, truly a hidden gem!"

"Psych a wonderful stay at Casal Dos Capelinhos for my friends and I- we felt so comfortable and at home thanks to the friendly staff like Miguel & Sarah. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful space in the Douro valley. The dinner was also amazing"
