The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"This was just the best place to stay in Pinhao. The staff were so friendly and ready to help and provide tips and recommendations. Loved the room - very clean and comfortable. The entire Quinta couldn't be more relaxing and peaceful. The restaurant had stunning views and dinner was to die for. I plan on staying at Quinta de la Rosa again."

"The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! "

"The views are lovely. The property has many fruit trees and of course grape vines. The drive to get there involves narrow hairpin turns with steep hills, so it is not for the anxious driver. Breakfast was excellent. The cabin we stayed in was not elegant but everything we needed was there except maybe for no kettle to boil water in without a trip to main building."

"I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. "The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area.
