"Hideaway Bay is a great little spot. We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage itself was very clean and nice. The beach is quite rocky so you need shoes to walk around and for the water (especially for little kids). It was great to have access to loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar was delivered food and drinks right to you on the beach, I would suggest putting side tables with the beach furniture so people have a place to put their drink down. The fire at night was lovely, everyone gathered...

"The location is amazing! It has a panoramic view of the lake and the sound of the waves crashing is so relaxing. The beach area is nice and somewhat isolated. It’s an older home but has everything you need for nice stay. My only concern is the bathtub: I would caution anyone with stability issues against using it. "DISGUSTING!! We walked in and walked back out. Expedia will only give me a $25 refund, absolute garbage service all around. Expedia and the motel are useless. I wouldn’t have let my worst enemy stay in that room, probably had bed bugs. Nothing was cleaned, no toilet paper on the roll, door didn’t bolt shut, bed linen & chairs were dirty beyond belief, smelled foul."

"DO NOT STAY HERE if you are considering it, reconsider. if you must. trust that you will want to ask to see the room first before you give them any credit card, and physically check all of the amenities they've listed. I've stayed in all kinds of very cheap, "rustic" places, this one was by far the worst."
