From the site it appeared to be a nice place and probably it was 20 years ago. The bug netting in room was not in good shape. AC was a fan and had to share bathroom. "Incredible safari lodge with a water hole out back to attract animals. Beautiful rooms, a gorgeous restaurant and bar area, top notch service and food, and plenty of history to boot. They even washed my car for me overnight!"

"Just wonderful. You will not find this level of service even in Mombasa and Nairobi hotels. The staff is amazing as are the culinary creations from the on-site restraunt. There is nothing I can say negative about this experience. In the jungle living like a king. To those who expect National Geographic please set your sites lower. While you will see plenty of African animals the king of the jungle is elusive."

"Nice lodge with great views over Tsavo East. Refreshing swimming pool. The restaurant offers a reasonable buffet meal service. Rooms a little dated (1970s) and room bathrooms could definitely use a freshen up. "
