"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. "Lovely house high up a hill overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji visible on clear day. We stayed two nights and regretted not staying longer. Well appointed house: comfortable and warm. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."

"If you are a tourist, this place is only accessible by taxi. If you want to take the bus, make sure you do not have luggage as the city busses are very small. The onsen is really the highlight of the place. "
