"The hotel was generally comfortable and cosy. I enjoyed my 4-night stay but was disappointed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, including floor, tables and chairs. Only on the Monday morning did I witness a friendly, competent member of staff making an effort to improve and maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness. "First time staying and we were impressed. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a bath in our family room would have been better for our younger children. The receptionist was very helpful, welcoming and friendly! The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Great for both adults and children. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. "

"A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. "
