"The location was great for coming and going with a rental car to all sites on the Golden Circle. Breakfast was varied with excellent alternatives that suited everyone in the family. The family room was spacious and perfect for with 2 older children because all beds were 'real' and standard sized - not 'extra' beds or pull outs. There could have been more hooks - both inside the door for coats and inside the bathroom. "

Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. "Nice, spacious, clean rooms with great mountain and sea views. This is my second time staying here. Close proximity to Vik but not walkable to town. There’s a pretty good restaurant and bar on site but a few other good dining options in Vik just a short drive (less than 10 minutes) away. Continental style breakfast was included and it was excellent, there was so much variety. Also loved the lounge areas in the lobby, it’s really cute and cozy for hanging out!"

"Loved to stay in the Cabin! Great Location for the south area. The cabin is very comfortable and have everything you need. We just had a bit of trouble getting the hot water going and the pipes make a lot of noise while you use the shower, but other than that, we loved it here and would love to come back! "Very unique place to stay. Room was very comfortable, got amazing sleep. It was difficult to tell from the website what this was. We stayed in one guesthouse that was part of a large complex of many places to stay. We cooked in the guesthouse so didn’t try the food. There was a small grocery area with enough to throw together a meal if needed. Hard to tell what food the small groups had access to. No information listed in guesthouse regarding food access or hours of cafe."
