"This hotel was recently renovated and reopened after being closed for many years. There is still quite a bit of work to do and the maintenance staff is only onsite during the day. We had to change rooms, which led to a room being out of service. The owners should consider keeping staff on for extra hours until the tourism season is over."

The handicapped shower was not sloped properly in the bathroom and the ENTIRE bathroom flooded after a shower making it unusable post-showering. I mentioned this to the staff, but was told "it will drain eventually". Breakfast was sub-par. Entire site needed an overhaul."

"We had trouble at check in. It was a computer issue,not the clerks fault. Entry door was dragging when opening or closing,very noisy. There were dead insects on the bathroom ceiling over the mirror. Shower/tub faucet dripped. Outside the grounds could use a little better maintenance,ie,mowing/trimming."

"There were a few dirty towels that the cleaning crew must've forgotten to remove as well as the bed upstairs wasn't made and the bed Downstairs was only partially made. Otherwise, place was clean, bug free, safe and comfortable."

"This is truly a hidden gem, such history with alot of room to get confortable. Just close enough to Cooperstown without the ridiculous prices. If you are going to stay in the area with a family this is an awesome place to stay."
