Check in could have been smoother there was a little confusion so it took longer which we wanted to start our game drive and had a short delay. "Ameg is beautifully landscaped. My room was spacious and well-appointed. The sidewalks were being re-done, which made walking in the muddy grass challenging for me. The staff repeated met me as I walked to the dining room to ensure I was safe. The food in the dining room was really good - I especially liked the lemon pepper chicken! "The pictures of hotels.com are deceiving. This is a tired, rough around the edges hotel. The manager was very nice but his restaurant staff need a lesson in customer service. Raw chicken for dinner. Sent back but the bill came anyway. The manager eventually partially refunded it. The cabana room bathroom was moldy and the entry door lock broken.
