"Amazing location in a medieval religious village with spectacular views of lake varese and the city, however the room had very little natural light( no windows, just the doorway,) and smelt dank and unventilated. "

"A good first night of rest after a late arrival in Italy. The hotel is a short drive from Milan Airport. Staff were friendly and helpful, and beds were comfortable. A nice seafood restaurant is next door, open late on weekends."

"Great value hotel on the edge of the town centre.Parking on site.Lovely big bathroom with plenty of towels and a great shower. Tastefully decorated.No bar on site but a fabulous bar across the courtyard working in liaison with the hotel. We stayed one night on our journey down to our Italian home and immediately rebooked for the stopover on the way back to England."

"On arrival, greeted with friendly, efficient service. As it was early morning, we had a few hours sleep then had a lovely breakfast downstairs, before setting off to Milan to see the sights. Our trip was planned to perfection by Alessandro, and the same again the day after to visit the beautiful Lake Como. Nothing was too much trouble for this guy, and helped us tremendously with advice concerning where to go and travelling on trains etc. Overall, we had a great 3 day city break. Thanks...

"They wanted passports for any guest visiting me, adults and children. No other ID only passport for any guests wanting to see me. Terrible"
