There was a shared lounge too and amazing breakfasts every morning which set us up for the day. Lots of car parks nearby - luckily we found a free one most days. Close to many restaurants. Wonderful decor and feel about the place. A perfect place to stay and relax after walking in the hills."

"Room was okay, the shower not good, due to the sloping ceiling it could not be fixed up high, we had to kneel in the bath and hold the shower head! No pies the first night in the pub, second night my wife wanted fish & chips, no cod! So she went to the chip shop over the road and saved £7. Very good breakfast! All staff very good!"

"We had a lovely stay, we booked a petite room, which is small but had everything we needed and very comfortable. The service was lovely and they have a particularly good breakfast. I advise the sausage bap! My only small criticism would be that I had the lamb for dinner and it was just one cutlet, one bite really so would have hoped for a little more, but the cheese after did the trick. Would stay again if I’m the area, the views and surrounding countryside is truly breathtaking. "
