"We had a lovely stay, we booked a petite room, which is small but had everything we needed and very comfortable. The service was lovely and they have a particularly good breakfast. I advise the sausage bap! My only small criticism would be that I had the lamb for dinner and it was just one cutlet, one bite really so would have hoped for a little more, but the cheese after did the trick. Would stay again if I’m the area, the views and surrounding countryside is truly breathtaking. "

"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements.
