"I honestly wish we could have stayed here longer! From the outside, this place is very unassuming. The area around it has mostly older buildings. But once you pull into the gates, it's clear why this is a highly rated hotel. Complete with welcome drinks, a luxurious pool, and a very attentive staff, this hotel was the perfect oasis before a rugged stay in the Amazon. There are quite a few dining options in Lago Agrio, but you could also relax and enjoy the on-site restaurant. The room was probably the nicest we had during our 3-week vacation. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. "

"This hotel is on what appears to be a mostly deserted street. The room was very noisy and we were kept awake all night by noise from the street. The room was not that clean, and the front desk staff was not very helpful. No place to eat on the premises."
