"The breakfast was very good. The room was bigger than expected though still on the smaller side. The service provided was excellent. The biggest issue was the parking - the parking lot at the back of the hotel was under renovation so I had to park at a lot that was a ten minutes’ walk away. The area was full of nightlife activities so I felt a little unsafe walking to the hotel from the car park late at night due to all the drunk people on the streets."

"I stayed here for three nights last week and it was great - quiet, excellent location and amenities. I returned for one night after the weekend and I could hear everything from the room next to me - I could hear her tv and her phone conversations until past 1 am. Not sure why it wasn't a problem last week. Maybe it was that particular room? "

"The Dormy Inn had free juice in the afternoon, free ice cream or yakukt drinks after baths, free massage chairs, and free ramen in the evening. The beds were comfortable. The ofuro bath was nice with an outdoor and indoor option, but not as hot as I would like. Location was great - easy walk to the station as well as close to the old town of Kurashiki. "

"Excellent location, right next to the river, not far from the castle and Okayama Korakuen. Lovely views of the castle and the river. The room (904) was spacious, but it looked twice as big as all the other rooms on the floor according to the floor guide. "
