"Not an easy place to find, Hekpoort did not come up on our sat nav and it's quite a way from Magliesburg. Once there though it is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful, just you and the rising sun If my life's ambiton was to write a book this is where i'd come. Very good standard of hosting. Essentially self catering."

"The Rabbit Hole is a funky, niche hotel near the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. In the area you either get "lodges" or small chain motels. I love the place and stay there frequently when on expeditions. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean."

"We were never informed of power cuts and its corresponding impact in a room with small fan and the inability to open windows due to plenty of mosquitoes and other insects. The whole family had an awful night and were dumbfounded to learn that they have a generator and simply forgot to put it on. This is appalling customer service. No indication of depth sign around a swimming pool which plunges up to 2 metres and you can just imagine the risk for the customers Customer care zero"
