"Terrible. We booked 4 rooms for 8 people but the manager said they only had 2 rooms for us. How could we stay in 2 rooms with 8 pp?? We went up to see the rooms and found that they were unacceptable. We 've booked non smoking rooms but the rooms they gave us were full of unpleasant odour of cigarette smoke. The rooms were damp and smelly too. We couldn't breath in those rooms so we rejected to check in. The manager told us that if we didn't check in we would be charged in full for 2 rooms and...

"For Japanese standards the room is spacious. I tried many other hotels in Japan and American's should probably only use Monterey Hotels which are throughout Japan for the comforts we are used to and reasonably priced. However very disappointed in the hot springs. Not only here but throughout Japan. It is nude but men with men and women with women. And if any tattoos you are not allowed to use any hot springs throughout Japan. Don't buy the false advertisement saying coed with bathing suits or...

"The building is very old and smells bad. The room was a smoking room before they made it non-smoking. It smelled. The bathroom was old but clean. The window was sanded glass so it was not possible to check the weather from the room, one had to go outside to check it. The lack of coin laundry is definitely a negative.
