"Older property but safe, secluded with a beautiful view of Portage Bay and mountains. Rooms have a patio, but no televisions or clocks. Shower floor was slippery. One dining room and separate lounge area with fireplace. Because of major storm damage a few years ago, we were not able to drive to property, instead we needed to take a water taxi from Picton."

"We stayed at Furneaux Lodge while walking the Queen Charlotte Track in February, 2024. After hiking the ~10 miles on the first day through a symphony of cicadas and outstanding views, feeling hot and tired, we walked into the magical oasis that is Furneaux Lodge. The setting is absolutely dreamy with a large grassy yard leading down to a pretty beach. It feels tranquil and elegant. We'd splurged on a suite and were astounded by how beautiful it was. "Wonderful stay with our hosts who did more than was expected. Nothing was a problem. They even met us at the train station with our luggage so we would not have to walk back from town. What a treat breakfast was. I would book again in a heartbeat. "
