"Well presented clean & comfortable hotel with good facilities - particularly the pools - and beautiful gardens overlooking the Atlantic. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and 5-6pm Happy Hour is a winner. Overall the staff were so helpful & friendly (just don’t mess with the breakfast team!!)."

"We were five adults aged between 80 and 35, and a small child under 2 years old, who rented this fantastic apartment. We were very satisfied with everything.We didn’t have access to a car, although there were garage spaces available. We chose to get into Funchal city either on foot or by Taxi/Bolt.There’s a good grocery store nearby — but it’s up a steep hill, so if you have limited mobility, you might need a car or someone to assist you.There are both swimming spots and good restaurants in the...
