"Some people just have to smoke pot all the time, I could smell it in my room all night."

"Clean room and facilities"

"The pool was awesome, huge hot tub and the kids loved it. The parking situation is a little weird though because you need wristbands in order to get in and out, otherwise you have to pay 20 dollars. We had someone in our party come late so at 1 am I had to wake-up and walk outside of the gate to hand them their wristband in order for them to get in. A few minutes after that while at the front desk, I heard on the employee radio that I was a suspicious person for doing so. So thats fun. Overall...

"Beautiful clean room. Nice balcony with a view of Grand Traverse Bay. Nice beach area with lots of chairs and loungers available. Breakfast area lovely with a view of the Bay and all selections well stocked. A great place to stay in Traverse City."

"Have no complaints and they helped me when I left somthing in the room."

"The hotel was on the lake, the view was great from our room. The sauna was wonderful. The craftsman style decor was warm and inviting. We would stay here again."

"Stayed here with a tour group. Breakfast is very mediocre and the coffee is terrible. However, the rooms are very comfortable but dated. I appreciated how comfortable the beds were and there was not a noisy air conditioner!"

"Awesome property and stay"

"Perfect location. Clean and very comfortable bed. Housekeeping very nice. Easy registration."

"👍"

"Nothing special kind of place, was a little run down. The rooms themselves aren't bad and the included breakfast was alright too. Not a terrible place to stay, but I believe you generally can find nicer places for comparable prices."

"Breakfast was basic cheap brand foods, hotel stairs very dark, staff was rude, came at 3 room was not ready and they said they would call never did, had to ask for simple items that should have been in room. The walls are super thin so the traffic noise was insane, and you can hear other guests talking."

"We've stayed at the cherry tree inn multiple times. The last time was in 2024. This time it seems like the property is run down and needs a little refresh. I know they just went through a renovation in 2020 or 2021 but that was 5 to 6 years ago and it really seems run down. The staff is always pleasant and nice."

"Fantastic building and room in the heart of a great area for an amazing value!"

"Loved everything from the cute little details to the view out the balcony"

"We had a wedding to attend and I thought it would be nice to book a special room, so the "penthouse" at this hotel caught my eye and I booked it. The "penthouse" is anything but. The penthouse is on the 3rd floor but there is no elevator to the third floor, so my wife and I had to haul 2 heavy suitcases and 2 heavy coolers up 3 floors. We are in our 70s. Before doing so, I went to the front desk and asked where the elevator was and the employee looked at me like a deer in headlights and then...
