"Our reason for going to a cabin at the end of each year is to recharge and find ourselves. Just me , my husband and our two German Shepherds. This cabin is away from everything and did what we wanted. The host Donovan was very easy to work with and very respectful. We would recommend this cabin to anyone. Clean and well taken care of and the catfish in the catch and release area were huge and fun to watch eat the feed we brought. Five stars!"

"Little cold the first night as the heater took time to heat the cabin. Besides that everything was good. Very secluded. Took some time to get to town for groceries but once we had groceries it was nice to be able to be out where no one was and just do nothing. "

"Property was clean, well equipped kitchen, all linens and towels including beach towels were provided. House is very large with big bedrooms. Kids and adults loved the indoor basketball court. The pool is beautiful but cool since there had been a problem with freezing pipes outside a few days earlier. This was no fault of the owner, just mother nature. "we were staying in town to visit barboursville so it’s a quick distance from there. the hotel is less than a minute drive from a few food options so that’s convenient. it’s an interesting location not much around but the hotel itself was clean and beautiful it’s the good quality i can expect from a marriott. the only catch is please make sure you are calling them and confirming their policy i called ahead to confirm i would be able to book and stay as a 20 year old turning 21 soon and they said...
