"The location was lovely and it was very close to the water and easy access which was great. Staff were friendly but the restaurant was closed for breakfast which put a hamper in our plans. Bed was too soft for my liking. Worse was that the room was not soundproof and I heard our neighbours banging in their room and heard them talking at 7am. Amenities were good as in the kitchenette but it would have been nice to buy wood to have a fire on the beach. Overall not bad, some pros but also...

"Restaurant and wine bar were not available for the 2 nights we stayed there. There were not a lot of good alternatives close by that were open. We booked to have convenient access to a restaurant so this was disappointing. Bathroom was pretty tight for space. Location was good."

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "

"We had a great visit. It was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and everything was well kept. We couldn't figure out the ventilation / AC systems to get it to turn on, but the weather was wonderful and felt great in the house with the windows open and there were fans available.We enjoyed the property: pool table, arcade, BBQ grill, outdoor seating along with the wonderful view. We did alot of hiking in the area and ventured up to Gespe for a day. The local grocery stores are within 5 to 15...

"This house is great and conveniently located to get to and from many places in Quebec City. We had everything we needed at the house, and the host was very helpful. There were no surprises, it was consistent with the listing and we really enjoyed our stay."
