This place is called sunset beach for a reason. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen here all summer long. In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks. This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. "It's seen better days. Quality of the meals was disappointing. Room was spacious and clean but the property in general is tired and needs upgrading. It's a bit on the outskirts of the main part of Yamashiro Onsen but there's a bus stop across the street if you want to get into town. We took it to get to Yamanaka Onsen and to Kakusenkei Gorge."

"I loved everything! It was so nice and cozy and the staff were very friendly. The onsens were amazing! Very convenient location and walkable everywhere. Definitely recommend! Only thing is that the staff doesn’t speak english too well so they told me the free ramen was at 1030 so I missed it the first night. It says it’s until 10:30pm but they only open for 30 minutes (opens at 9pm and last call is at 930pm) so I don’t think that part is super clear. Besides that everything was amazing! "

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath.
