"The hotel is located next to the family farm on the lake. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful, inviting lobby and restaurant. We ate at the onsite restaurant and the food was innovative and delicious. The breakfast buffet the next morning was very varied, plentiful and delicious. The rooms were comfortable but small which is not unusual for Iceland. The bathroom was small as well but manageable. They have free parking which is nice. They also provide wake-up calls for the northern lights and we were fortunate to receive one. Excellent property to take advantage."

"Lovely location overlooking the mountains and also glimpses of the glaciers from the room we got Room was really good sized and had all amenities needed Property in clean condition although the electric car charger wasn’t functional and the staff had no information about it Breakfast spread was decent, although have seen better options Parking plenty but the hotel is slightly outside the town of Hofn"

The option to use provided robes, slippers, and towels for access to a very nice sauna, hot tub, and a cold pool added an almost Icelandic bathing experience to the hotel environment. The property's restaurant was delicious, and we had some of the best cocktails we have probably ever had at the bar. Will definitely stay again if we return in the future,a "
