"The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. The dining arrangements in the kitchen were great and allowed us to all sit together to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. "We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is perfect. We traveled via train and the station is literally right across the street. As for the hotel it has wonderful ocean views. It is the perfect starting point for a walk along the waterfront. I am a huge Agatha Christie fan so this was the perfect place to stay and start our experience. The hotel is very grand - like the name - but also very inviting and comfortable. All of the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!"
