"Good hotel for one night."

"Had a great stay at the White Lion - the staff were amazing and looked after us. The hotel is within easy reach of the train station and right in the middle of Hebden Bridge too. Breakfast was delicious too."

"Great - clean and not too far in a taxi from Sowerby Bridge (steep incline if walking!)"

"Thank you to the whole team for our stay! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the mansion, and it’s superb and well kept facilities. We couldn’t have really asked for a better place to celebrate. I’d recommend the stay to anyone!"

"You definitely get what you pay for. The bed was like sleeping on springs covered with a blanket. There was a lot of activity in the hallway all night and a constant banging noise coming from somewhere. There was no heat in the room until morning and the shower was like standing in front of a pressure washer. So if you like mild torture go ahead and book it!"

"Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic."
