"First, this house was in a great spot. Its about mid way between the esat and west entrances to the park and since we wanted to explore the whole area we could easily head out in different directions. There was plenty of seating in the house, the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The town itself is tiny…a couple of shops, a general store type place, and a couple of restaurants. Nothing fancy, not lots of variety, but all the basics."

The three bedrooms , full kitchen and back porch overlooking Duck Lake were perfect when we came back from a day of hiking or driving. "The Elk Willows is a nicely furnished, clean and dramatically-located lodging with incredible views in three directions, including S over Glacier National Park. The Paul Ranch is fairly isolated from basic necessities such as groceries (especially organic) and gas for your car. $5.25 per gallon at the one gas station within 40 miles.
