"The Bold Type Hotel is a sympathetically renovated & converted old family house. The staff were very friendly & helpful. It had reserved on street parking spaces outside & a lovely garden. It is conveniently located in the Old Town area of Patras a city in Greece which is not yet a tourist destination. However it was a good base for day trips to Delphi & Olympia."

"Booked last minute and had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Had a couple of drinks by the pool which looked very clean but didn’t use as it was raining. Food available but we ate out as there are a couple of tavernas within walking distance. Breakfast was nice with good selection of food and coffees. "

"Had a lovely stay for three nights with friends. Rooms were good size and clean with comfy beds. The fridge in our friend’s room didn’t work but we did notify reception so hopefully repaired for next guests. Breakfast was very nice and fresh. Pool area was nice but pool could do with a bit of a clean/chlorine shock as there was a bit of green starting to show around the pool. We had a car and managed to park at the rear of the hotel which was useful. Only a 3-4 minute walk from the marina and loads of restaurants. Really good stay and highly recommend. "

"Very conveniently situated within the marina. Lovely views from our split level room. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Bus stop just outside. We came before Easter so the town and the hotel were very empty. Bathroom could do with upgrading however work was being done to rooms on our floor so it is likely that ours will have been refurbished in time for high season. I would recommend."
