That level of support made our entire trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Right in the middle with the locals. The location was perfect for exploring Beijing and the amenities were wonderful. One of the standout touches for us was the complimentary laundry service, which was incredibly convenient during our stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is the hotel staff. The kindness, professionalism, and care shown by the staff made this experience unforgettable. We absolutely recommend the Forbidden City Hotel to anyone visiting Beijing, and we will most definitely be booking with them again on our next trip."

"Lovely location just along Nanlouguxiang, the staff are all wonderful, super friendly and helpful. Free laundry, we had a long trip and was travelling with many bags (heavy) the ladies had to help to hand carry them all to our room on the second floor. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea (missed it as we were out in the day) on the day of checkout at noon they even offered to cook a dumpling noodle soup for my son who missed his breakfast. Would love to stay here longer if we had more time.. Thank you for the great service!"

"Gym and pool was closed, AC in the room was now working properly, hard sleep at night. Very stuffy. But the personal was very polite and helpful, clean rooms, good location."

"My partner and I stayed on the 10th floor in an Executive room which had club access during April 5th & 13th, 2026. Check-in was quick and easy as was checking out. Apple from the Executive Lounge was always smiling and helpful each afternoon and evening we spent there. We used the laundry service daily for one garment and housekeeping was immediate and responsive each time I called up. I'd literally put down the phone and there would be a knock on our door within minutes. The concierges were probably the best I've ever encountered. I read some reviews prior to the trip about issues with English but it wasn't an issue at all with us. Sometimes we used the translator but nothing that couldn't be solved. They booked Tiananmen Square and other attractions so promptly and nothing was ever an issue. The hotel is close to two different metro stations and has a couple of convenience stores located within the area. Wangfujing Street has all the shopping you need. The breakfast in the Atrium area is fantastic although you might spend a bit of time waiting for coffee due to only two machines. On our last day, the valet - Jack (Helianjue) was so helpful with helping us with our taxi to the airport. I felt sorry for the heavy bags he had to lift into the car. Sunworld hotel is right next to Sunworld Dynasty, but don't confuse the two as I highly recommend Sunworld Dynasty where I stayed over the other. Would stay here again next time I visit Beijing."
