A wonderful VRBO! Listed for venues and family gatherings. Our time here was for a family gathering. Our family, 13 of us here for family memorial service. Fit us all comfortably. Plenty of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and gathering spaces with everything you need. From towels to kitchen ware to bedding and seating. It was an emotional 3 days and staying at this incredible and historic VRBO gave us the peace we needed during this time. The owner was amazing to work with, instant replies always to any questions we may have had. All around 100%. If you're looking for charm and serenity and room to relax this is the place. The sprawling landscaping on acreage was so quiet, deer and elk were seen and birds greeted us each morning with our coffee. If you’re looking for a modern whirlwind kind of place, this isn’t it and I’m sure many will appreciate this is not “city” crazy place. We will be back for our next family gathering. Thank you!

WOW! this place was great for our family. Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, well stocked kitchen. The views were amazing! We were visited by a herd of elk most mornings when having coffee on the deck. We had a wedding at The Pines, dinners at Charthouse, pizza at Guidos. Close to Highway, easy drive to Golden and Denver. super convenient. The home is full of historic antiques and cool artifacts. Darcy was great whenever I had questions. What a wonderful host. We had absolutely everything we needed. I forgot to mention that this place is absolutely magical at night, the entire property is filled with fairy lights and the star views from the balcony were beautiful, too!

We came to Golden for a wedding and needed a place large enough for 3 generations to stay- this place was perfect! Loved that there were enough spaces for people to get away for private moments if needed, but also large enough for gathering together. We loved our time together. Thanks for everything!

Amazing stay

Darcy walked us through check-in and gave us a tour to answer all of our questions. She was sweet and informative. The property was beautiful and was a perfect place to host our wedding. Any questions we had Darcy got back to us in a timely manner. I would love to come back again!!

If I could only use 1 word to some this property up, it would be perfect!! This place was incredible and we can not say enough about the great time we had staying here with family and having my daughter’s wedding reception in the barn. It was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed morning coffee watching the sunrise and at night the property lights up and becomes even more beautiful! The property has absolutely everything and the barn is wonderful for an event, plenty of parking, spacious and gorgeous! We are already planning a trip back. I HIGHLY recommend!! We had a wonderful time at the "ranch".It was extremely comfortable for our group of 10.The rooms were large and spacious and the entire property was gorgeous.We held a large BBQ as a wedding pre-party and it was perfect. Comfortable and beautiful

Darcy was very responsive and helpful in showing us her home and explaining the “how to’s)There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy and allowing some quiet time when it was needed. The property has disc golf which was enjoyed by kids and adults alike and a bonus was visiting with the neighbor’s horses and being visited by elk several times.The home is beautiful with the western decor and the master was spacious. Plenty of beds to sleep our entire crew without needing the pullouts.

Great for family stay with sons wedding.

Great history and amazing antiques. Water ok to drink, but did have bad taste, the owners did have bottled water availible. Was clean except for dishes in dishwasher. If we had a smaller wedding would be a fun venue.

Wonderful place for family gatherings. We used the out building for the rehearsal portion of my son's wedding, of which there are extra fees. All in all everyone was very happy and would rent there again!

Positives: The house is beautiful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s lovely to sit on the porch in the morning and have coffee. It’s an old house that’s been upgraded but still maintains it’s rustic feel. Lots of neat historical relics. Lots of portable AC units everywhere make up for not being able to open windows. Bathrooms, kitchen, floors, furniture is all very clean. Neutral: No ventilation coupled with not being able to open windows in the bathrooms is not great when you have a full house. The water can get REALLY HOT really fast, “burn you” hot. It’s great to not run out of hot water with a full house getting ready for a wedding, but mind young kids. Negatives: With an old house that is modernized, it’s very reasonable to have flaws that add to the charm. But a couple things were frustrating or dangerous. Cookware and appliance maintenance - having to tighten handles and legs. Steam irons that shoot rust at your clothes and showerheads that don’t get descaled. The front panel of the oven was so loose, it came off and hit one of our party while cooking. We had to hold it in place until everything was cool enough to get some tools and fix it. The biggest negative, however, was that if people other than the folks sleeping at the house come over, it is considered and event. We cooked breakfast for friends and family who also flew in for a wedding. We did not think that was an event - not setting out tents or tables or bringing catering, etc. But since the folks coming

Red Rocks 10 Ladies

We were a group of 10 girlfriends who stayed in this wonderful log home. It was chosen because of it's proximity to Red Rocks as we went to a concert. Also, it was like being in the middle of the mountains. Lots of scenery, deer, elk and even buffalo. The home had so many amenities that made for a great stay. Darcy was a very responsive and helpful host. We didn't arrive until late evening and she offered to be available to accept a grocery order and even put them all away. Overall it was a beautiful home/location/setting. We all agreed would stay there again.

Darcy was amazing start to finish. We were able to preview home after booking to make final plans. We communicated through the process. She was quick to respond! Check in was easy and the house was beautiful, clean, well stocked for all of our needs and more. We had a smaller wedding and Darcys home had everything we needed to have an amazing day! We will definitely book again!

Our Wedding!

We absolutely loved our stay and couldn't have asked for a better location for our wedding. The space was perfect for week stay with in-laws and bridal party. We would totally book this house again!
