"Great place! It was clean when we arrived and there were no surprises. The photos in the ad are accurate in their presentation of the cottage and area. One small quibble is that the PaddleBoard is not easy to inflate so if you want good watercraft be prepared to bring your own. We had bad weather but the cottage was nice and cozy and we relaxed and read and ate and drank. Thanks!"

"We had such an amazing week at this cottage, wished we had rented it for longer! The location is peaceful and quiet, the sound of the Palmer Rapids in the distance at night was like listening to the ocean. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you need, (especially the kitchen), comfortable beds and furniture, and we loved sitting out on the screened porch to read, eat or lie in the hammock. The swimming and fishing was great from the dock (but water gets deep fast!), and we loved that there were kayaks and paddle boards for us to use. The grounds are lovely and the area with the firepit behind the cottage looks out on the river, and we enjoyed our morning coffee in that space and watching kayakers from the paddling school a few km away go by on their way to try and tackle the rapids. The basement area with a separate sleeping space and TV was very appreciated by our daughter, it gave her some private space. Florencia was an amazing host, she provided all the details we needed and answered all of our questions. "

"My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had at this property! Janet and Dean were so kind and hospitable and made us comfortable for our entire stay. The cabin and washroom was spotless when we arrived and had all amenities we needed for the week. So many great activities available for families and children. What a beautiful place of paradise, we will be back! "

"This is a real cottage! Charming and rustic, private, peaceful, and on an amazing lake. The kitchen was fully stocked, and large. The living room comfortably appointed and clean, and the beds comfortable! The air conditioner works like a son-of-a-gun, and when the humidity broke it was a pleasure to throw open all of the screened windows and enjoy the cool cross breezes off the lake! The lake is warm and deep and clear. Great for fishing and swimming, not too busy with boats. The fire pit was an amazing way to relax at the end of the day, followed by stargazing on the dock, while listening to the loons calling to each other! This place checked all our boxes and more. We were so sad to leave, and hope we have another opportunity visit! "

"A great place to stay for a trip to the Mazinaw. Owner was very quick to respond to all questions. A bit on the rustic side but well appointed for a camping spot. I stayed in one of the cabins and have no complaints! The water pressure was very good. Close to the road so you get the traffic noises but waking to the call of Loons on the lake was wonderful. No TV but then who wants to spend time indoors when you have the lake 100 feet away!"
