We stayed 4 nights. The house was beautiful! The rooms and beds were awesome. We enjoyed the back porch. It was very close to all of the wedding activities! Would definitely stay here again.
The home is absolutely charming. They thought of every detail from tissues in every room to comfortable bedding with plenty of extra blankets. Our hosts were, prompt, welcoming, accommodating and very flexible. I couldn’t have asked for anything else in the property or from the hosts.
In all of our travels this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Clean, updated, and very cozy. Nicely decorated, plenty of space and the details are appreciated. Felt like a luxurious hotel! Thanks!
We had a large party but there was plenty of space, Doug and Karin really thought about everything. The house was so inviting, didn’t feel it was overcrowded, every nook was comfortable. We would definitely book again.
Such a lovely home! Very well appointed! Completely comfortable & cozy! House is updated and is a perfect spot for adults to chill while visiting Delaware for OWU sporting events/parents weekends/ect! We highly recommend! Working with the owners was easy & they are very accommodating.
My husband, 20 something daughters, and elderly mother had a family wedding in town and decided it would be preferred to stay in a house vs get 3 separate hotel rooms. This house was clean, beautifully appointed and very comfortable for our extended weekend stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed having breakfast and coffee every morning. The owners communicated well and could not have been more accommodating! Highly recommend!!!
Stayed here for two nights for a college reunion with 2 other couples. This VRBO is exactly as described. Owners are very easy to work with and communicate quickly. The house is adorable - comfy couches and chairs, snuggly throw blankets, bright and clean. Lovely kitchen with a big island. We all thought the place was adorable and comfortable. Quiet street in a quiet neighborhood.
We were in town for a wedding at Meeker’s Venue. This location is excellent. Less than 5minute drive to quaint downtown area. Meeker’s is less than 10 minutes. House is historic but beautifully restored. Very quiet location. Local ice cream stand within a couple blocks was nice treat. Does have steeper stairs to second level but this is common in older homes. Doug and Karin could not be nicer more hospitable hosts. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Walkable to downtown area. Fantastic amenities, better than any other VRBO we’ve ever been to! Extremely easy/quick with communication. Parking not a problem.
What a wonderful home! Everything was perfect! Beautifully decorated, the owners made sure everything we needed for our stay was available! Better than a 5 star hotel!
This was a great place for my family to stay while we hosted local family for a holiday dinner get together. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed for multiple people to participle in the meal prep. Additionally we had plenty of space for people to go off and do their own thing. The double living room area allowed for quiet activities like puzzles in one space and group TV watching in a different space. (Not sure why the review is asking me about a vineyard since that is not part of this stay at all!) I look forward to possibly staying here again in a warmer part of the year!
We loved staying here! The interior is beautiful! The owners must have done a renovation to update EVERYTHING! They did a wonderful job!The kitchen is stunning and extremely well equipped for any cooking you might want to do. The rest of the house is very pretty and comfy! The bedrooms are all great sizes and the bathrooms are gorgeous! We will definitely VRBO again! We recommend this house to all who want to visit Delaware, OH.The town itself is very cute and had many awesome restaurants and fun shopping. We had a great time!
Family event with 7 people to stay at the home. We all loved it! Each room had its own temp control. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Everything worked perfect. Excellent host with great communication. Near the downtown area. Easy to walk to several stores and eateries. Plenty of parking in the back of the house. Will stay again in the future.
Wonderful experience! Since booking, the owners were very responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for parking in the driveway. Upon our arrival we were greeted with treats on the kitchen island, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Toiletries were provided, to include travel size toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. We were able to walk downtown for a bite to eat. While we didn’t prepare any meals there, the house had a decent amount of utensils, dishes, pans, etc. The front porch is a nice place to sit and chat with friends/family and greet people who are passing by. We were in town for a wedding at Aspen and Alston’s, which was about 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay there again.
