"The room was exceptionally clean, staff was super friendly and having a casino and restaurant on site was great! My only complaint is the pool area- many of the water features didn't work and were rusting. Overall this was a great stay!"

Wonderful stay!

"I really enjoyed the cozy cabins and nice forest views. The bathrooms were also very clean and cute. I liked the location and being able to get to the attractions. It was always relaxing to come back to the cabin, after a long day exploring the area/ hiking."

The most important event in Deadwood, South Dakota history was a poker game in Saloon #10 on August 2, 1876, where the sniveling coward Jack McCall snuck up and shot Wild Bill Hickok in the back of the head. Hickok had arrived in Deadwood only a few weeks earlier, played a succession of card games, and never in his life sat with his back to the door. Until that day.
