"This place is an absolute gem! We were not expecting much initially since this was planned only an easy night stay before our villa rental but realized we could easily stay for days! Firstly, the pool might be the nicest I’ve ever seen. The resort is located on a stunning beach, crystal blue waters, and beautiful sand. The bar stayed open late and mixed great cocktails, and served a delicious for breakfast in the morning. Our two bedroom room was very clean, had a beautiful view and balcony, and the smaller Casitas were very quaint with individual outside sitting areas. The front desk was super nice and helpful, and readily helpful to arrange for taxis, luggage services, etc. If we do come back to Tortola, we will plan on staying for a longer visit at the Wyndham!"

"Spotlessly clean, kitchen good, but took ages to get hot water via sink and shower.Bedroom: mattress very comfortable. AC good.But recommend a set of drawers under window as no where to put clothes. Plenty of wardrobe space to hang things but nowhere to place t-shirts, underwear etc and therefore had to put them on a shelf above wardrobe, therefore needing a stool to get to that height. (I am 5ft 8").Washing/drying machines are somewhat antiquated but effective.Entry to premises is not for those with a mobility disabilities, steep walk down, and then two sets of stairs to walk down to get to front door. With heavy cases, difficult. My issue is such that the "chairs provided indoor and outdoor were very uncomfortable and hard. Outdoor, was a wobbly table, and folding chairs, not comfortable. It also needed a light, close by as dimly lit. It will be fabulous when they get the pool refurbished as this was cordoned off by a single rope. Health and safety comes to mind.Views are fabulous, host was lovely.One would need to hire a car, as although relatively close to Road town, due to extreme gradients of roads, little pathways, transport is needed.All windows etc are protected to avoid mosquitos which is good.Once the refurbishments take place, a lick of paint outside around pool area this will be a fabulous area.For future renters, this venue is south of island, most beaches are on the north of the island. They are beautiful."

"We were a party of five, including a guest with cervical-spine issues, booked for a two-night mountain retreat. Instead, we faced a dangerous, unmarked route, misleading listing claims, and no host support ending with denied access and no refund.• Severe access concerns: Listing labeled it a “centrally located gem” with “easy access” and vague advice to use a “high clearance vehicle.” But the approach road is a narrow, rocky and bumpy, unpaved ramp exceeding a 45 incline with cliff‐side drop‐offs—conditions even a seasoned local taxi driver found unsafe.• Misleading directions: Host offered only a pin drop for directions. She refused to meet us and dismissed our concerns by stating “others had no problem finding it” and that we should “keep looking.”• Denied check-in and refund: After 30 minutes on the road to find the place and aware that other taxi drivers would struggle to find the place and / or drive up and down safely, especially in the dark with not lighting, we requested cancellation. The host told us to go ahead and said she was changing the door code—effectively locking us out of a rental we had paid for. She later refused any refund.• Physical and emotional harm: Rough terrain worsened neck pain and caused anxiety, exhaustion, & distress. We never entered the home. While the property may be lovely, none of that matters if it’s unreachable and unsafe, especially for guests with any mobility issues.We strongly recommend seeking safer, transparent alternatives."
