"Lovely characterful old building. Room was very comfortable and we were offered an air con unit as we were staying in a heatwave which was brilliant. Breakfast was lovely and the location of the hotel is perfect."

"This was our favourite hotel on our European trip. Great bed, bedding, shower, air con, black out blinds, water, little fridge, clean, hair dryer, pretty room…everything was perfect. You can request a shower that is more enclosed for privacy. Staff were lovely. Location is amazing. We were so happy to have our nights in Haarlem while exploring Amsterdam. It is a more quiet and chill. This hotel is located perfectly - 3 minutes to the train station to get to Amsterdam in about 15 minutes, but...

"Really great feature is the digital key to open your door incase you forget the key card. Comfortable bed, very clean, great shower."

"The excellent staff did all they could to make or stay as pleasant as possible. However, the rooms were outdated and a bit scruffy. We had to ask for the rugs to be vacuumed and the bathroom floor washed before we felt comfortable with the cleanliness. The major drawbacks were that the hotel is without air conditioning and some rooms are quite noisy, as they are on the street with bar and restaurants all along the street on which the hotel resides. That said, I would consider looking at it again...
