"Boutique Hotel Staats is charming, quirky and intimate. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street in Haarlem, conveniently located in walking distance from the bus and train station. They offer lounge and bar service in a beautiful dining area, which makes the atmosphere so much more cozier on rainy days. As for my stay, the room was situated in the back corner on the top floor—super quiet and secluded. I came to appreciate this quality after a long day coming back from the main city....

"I think, this is one of my favorite hotels now. It is located in a renovated historic building right in the center. Self-check-in was very easy and worked great. I did arrive a bit early, but was assisted with the room that was ready at that point. Room was very clean and comfortable. Various teas a thoughtful touch. Just be mindful, that the building is elevator-free, and the staircase ilmight be a challenge, if you packed a large suitcase."

"Great experience at the Met. Very well kept, great breakfast, and easy access to several trains. It’s important to know it’s in a relatively residential area, not in the thick of the tourist areas, so restaurants, and attractions are a train or bike ride away. For us that was a plus. Only minor critique was that we could have used a mini fridge because multiple grocery stores are nearby but the room was otherwise comfortable and well appointed. The bar area/front desk doubles as an Internet...

"The room was large and very well designed with modern amenities. Especially impressed with auto lights that come on in the night below bed and guides to washroom. Nice shower. Super large picture window. Very quiet. Restaurants are amazingly good. Dinner and breakfast. Wow!"

"Clean, friendly and helpful staff, awesome location. Laundry facilities on site for eight euros you get a load of wash and dry. Coffee in the room. They have breakfast, but we did not take advantage. Loved the in room kitchenette. We would definitely stay here again."

Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen und waren sehr zufrieden: Das Zimmer mit modernem Bad war sauber, die Lage in der Nähe des Hafens für uns gut und die Dame am Empfang sehr sympathisch. In unserem Zimmer konnte man die Fenster nicht öffnen, wenn ich nicht irre (das hat uns oder das Zimmer jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt). Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Wenn ich nochmals nach IJmuiden oder in die Umgebung reise, würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen."
