"We had a very relaxing stay. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was great. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Friendly staff, nice continental breakfast, bed was comfortable and clean room. Only hiccups; the door to the room did not shut automatically as I had to push it to when leaving or coming into the room. Also no soap in the room for the shower. Other than those two minor things; it was a nice stay and I would recommend it."

"We were highly disappointed. The room was so small we felt like we were in a jail cell. The bed was on a metal frame with a 4 inch foam mattress. With lack of sleep and aching bodies, our 4 day vacation was hell. Never again! It was a cute vintage display but the accommodations were very lacking. Not to mention the tv never worked. The instructions were vague. The noise from the highway beside it was very loud! Just not a good experience at all."

"It was wonderful hanging and cooking out on the deck. Interior was beautiful and very clean. The deck and siding could use a fresh coat of stain. I felt the price was an excellent value. Paid the same price I would have for a 2 bedroom hotel, but had all the privacy and relaxed atmosphere we wanted. "

"Pearly and Lois is so wonderful, I almost want to keep this location secret! Opening the door is a step back in time (but with modern amenities). Connie's eye for decor is on par with Country Living or Better Homes and Gardens magazines. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge (vintage look, and smaller than a full size fridge, but plenty of room for all your food needs). Microwave has air fryer capabilities. Two kinds of coffee makers (drip and k-cup). Beds and pillows were comfortable. Shed outback was a favorite for our kids to hang out, read, or play games in. Front porch is lovely in the evening while watching the sun set.We hiked in Pisgah National Forest (just down the road!) every day, and there is more exploring to be done, and more parks nearby.Shopping, antiques, and thrifting is also hot in Brevard. Connie is a wonderful and courteous host. We are blessed to have spent time in her rental.Stay at Pearly and Lois (except when we want to return); you will fully enjoy your vacation! "
