What's nearby:
Perched on the blue water of Indian Bay, this getaway is a half-mile from the main drag of the island, so heading out for a bite to eat or grabbing a few groceries is a breeze. When you want a bit more adventure, schedule a fishing charter, head down to Dauphin Beach (two miles south), or check out The Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab on the east side of the island. The whole gang will also love taking the ferry over to Fort Morgan to sightsee!

Dock details: Located just out the door. It will be shared with any Guests that rent out side A of the duples. No gate, no code or key is needed to enjoy the dock. Swim at your own risk. There is no boat launch at this home.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Long weekend fishing trip

Great location for for fishing. House has dock to tie boat up overnight which we were looking for. Short ride for ladies to the beach was also convenient. Only issue we had was there was a VERY limited amount of kitchen ware so we had to mostly eat out. GREAT STAY

Not Kitchen Friendly

We like to plan meals and cook while we are away on vacation. The kitchen was definitely not set up for cooking and eating in. We didn't even have steak knives to cut our steaks. No chopping knives, cutting boards, etc. Total disappointment when we started cooking. Also, the condo appeared to be clean at first glance but when we started searching for items in the kitchen, the drawers and cabinet shelves were dirtly. My 10 month old came to see us and by the looks of her knees and socks the floors were not clean either.

Beautiful View

We loved the location, the unit is out dated but sufficient. The kitchen utensils are VERY lacking. If you are cooking a lot bring stuff with you. There is not one Tupperware bowl in the entire place. Besides the kitchen utensils and dishes we had the best time and would come back. But we would bring our own kitchen stuff.

A wonderful getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bay Dream Bliss for a quick getaway. The home was very clean and the location was convenient to everything. While the kitchen is not heavily stocked, there is plenty of stuff there to accommodate our needs. The deck had a gorgeous bay view! It’s wonderful to sit on the dock and enjoy the water without a ton of beach partiers in your line of sight. The bed was comfortable and the couch was exceptionally comfortable. I was very interested to learn that the entire duplex can be rented for a very fair price; especially since it can be quite easy to hear the adjoined neighbors. They weren’t rowdy, sohearing them and their children didn’t bother us at all! I will absolutely stay here again.

family spring break on Dauphin island

This rental property was perfect for our spring break. Each teen got their own room, everything was fully functional. Furnishings actually nicer in person than in the photos. Deck was awesome for having a cool drink at the end of the day, and great to have access to the little dock. So many nearby beaches that allowed our dog too. Only two suggestions: add a cutting board and a can opener! Otherwise, everything in great working order and perfect for our family of four with a dog.

Beautiful Views

We loved the location and view. Were missing cereal bowls and only 4 glasses in kitchen. Beds were not comfortable, be sure and bring your own pillows. Large TV With dish network and excellent WiFi.

Great escape!

We had a great weekend at the property with 2 couples. The decks were very nice and views are excellent. We had dolphins come into the bay a few different times and could see them easily from the deck. We would stay again but will bring our own pillows next time as they were not the best for us.

Great getaway

My family and I had a lovely relaxing time in this home. The island is very small and we really only stayed in the home or went to the beach. It offered us the rejuvenation that we needed! The beds were comfortable but if you are picky about pillows I suggest bringing your own. The couches were extremely comfortable and the kitchen mostly stocked with things you need for cooking! BYO can opener and coffee filters. The town is very small and you will need to do some cooking unless you love subway and fried food! Overall great time!

Stay by the bay

Nice quiet place to stay, although you do have to be aware of the duplex neighbors. Very clean. Was unaware of which unit was ours until the code was tried. In the future, it would be nice to let other visitors know which unit they are in before they arrive.

Simple and comfortable home. Convenient to where we wanted to be, clean, nice dock to tie our boat up to. Enjoyed it!
