"Had an overall pleasant two night stay at the woodshed. The property is in a lovely spot with nice walks nearby and Aldeburgh just a short drive away. Although the place seemed clean upon entry, the kitchen equipment was not, plates still had crumbs from the previous occupants and kitchen utensils were dirty… we washed everything up before use so that was ok, but not what you expect. The main reasons for booking Red House Barns were the location (not too far from Aldeburgh and Southwold) and the hot tubs, and we were not disappointed on either of these fronts. "Positives: 1. Location is excellent for exploring the Suffolk Coast. 2. Saxmundham has everything you need in terms of shops, cafes, takeaways etc. 3. The cottage is walking distance from the amenities. 4. Although basic, the cottage had a well equipped kitchen. 5. Off road parking for two cars. 6. Constant hot water. 7.
