"Lovely one night stay right next to the convention centre. Room as expected, clean with plenty of space. Car parking very convenient and easy to find. Staff all friendly and helpful. Dinner in the hotel was lovely. Breakfast excellent and good service. Would definitely stay again."

"Run down and poorly maintained Chairs in room were threadbare, the table was marked and water stained. You should replace them or throw them away as in the room would be better without this rubbish. The towel rail was not working and was the same design as the one my parents had fitted in 1967. Only 2 staff at reception with resulting long queues and gruff uncommunicative staff. You need more staff at busy times. The machine to pay for parking is placed next to reception adding an additional...

"We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

"Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax."

"Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return."

"Great hotel 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Generous sized rooms. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great value for money."

"Great location…great restaurants"

"Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!"

"We had a one night stay, so didn’t use many of the facilities. Our room was small, but warm, clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and toiletries. Our problem was with access to the hotel. It was dark when we arrived, Harrogate had many one way roads and a lot of roadworks semi-closing others. We eventually had to abandon the car, walk to the hotel and ask for help as to how to get into the car park. Staff were very helpful and got us sorted. We had booked a space in the car park,...

"Stay spoiled by very loud neighbours from 6:30am. Suppose that is. Ot the hotels fault but the walls are paper thin"

"nice hotel although looking a little "tired""

"There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite. Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration. With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...

"Was nice. Breakfast was good"

"Old Swan Hotel Marvellous - We found this hotel very charming. Upon arriving, the reception lady was very welcoming and friendly. We booked an Executive Suite - great value for money. Suite was very clean and very spacious. However, does need updating as no aircon, no USB plus sockets and furniture very dated. Dining room very beautiful, staff friendly and breakfast delicious. Beautiful lounge areas to relax in. Would I stay again - absolutely. Would I recommend - absolutely."
