"A lovely example of a Marrakech riad. Small and friendly, the staff were incredibly helpful. The food was good although a little limited and quirky (chocolate cake for breakfast) but the facilities are lovely, the location is good - just a 15 minutes walk to the main square through the outer layers of the medina. I can totally recommend a stay at the Riad Jona!"

"We didn’t know quite what to expect having never stayed in a Riad hotel before. However the room was functional and had all we needed. The staff were pleasant and helpful and very approachable. Never got to use the pool due to the weather but ate in the restaurant which was good food a at a good price. All in all very happy with our stay."

"Riad Saba is ideally situated in the Medina. It is next to a little square where you can get dropped off very easily by taxi from the airport and picked up for other trips.It is just a couple of minutes walk into the Souks from the Riad so is in an ideal location. Staff were wonderful ,friendly and always helpful. There was always someone at the reception to greet you and we felt very safe. Thank you Aziza Jalal Mohamed and all the team for such a warm welcome. The Riad is beautiful and very tranquil with its central fountain and plunge pool. When you arrive you are immediately transported to a calm relaxing ambience and it has several areas to comfortably relax and a rooftop to watch the sunset. The room was very clean and comfortable and cleaned every day by the friendly housekeeping team. We enjoyed the Moroccan breakfast which was delicious fresh and plentiful with various breads pancakes eggs yoghurt and juice etc. "

"This was a stay that I will remember for a lifetime. Once you go through the front door you have found paradise in the Medina. One of the extremely important consideration is location. This was in the quiet section of the Medina but one key huge difference is the taxi can meet you right at the Riad vs. other ones that you will need to haul luggage or locals fighting over to bring your luggage. Breakfast was very nice and changed from day to day. I stayed 5 nights and was very walkable to key locations. Argan oil soap and shampoo & conditioner was a nice touch as well as the staff packing you lunch when you checkout. "

"My stay at this riad was truly wonderful. It is beautifully located just far enough from the chaos of the Medina to feel peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to the main streets to easily explore. I always felt comfortable walking to and from the riad in the evenings. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class. The chef was incredibly kind and accommodating—he even switched my class at the last minute due to a change in my flight schedule, which I really appreciated. What made the experience truly exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single person I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. On one occasion, I had to leave very early in the morning (around 5:00 AM) for an activity. Since it was still dark and I was unfamiliar with the area, the manager thoughtfully arranged for someone to escort me to my destination so I wouldn’t have to walk alone. That level of care and attentiveness meant so much and made me feel incredibly safe and looked after. I’m so grateful for such a memorable stay and the genuine hospitality I experienced here. I will absolutely be returning —next time with my family. "
