"I was attending a 2 day conference at Excel and travelling alone, so felt safe if I had to return alone in the evening. Staff were super helpful. I had a "take away" my first evening and in the mornings they were happy to freshly poach eggs for me. On the second evening I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant with colleagues. "After a bumpy start and no a/c in the room I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and a/c. The reception team were so nice, especially the gentleman who was an Arsenal fan.
