Econo Lodge Pigeon Forge Riverside

Econo Lodge Pigeon Forge Riverside

8/10 Good
"Clean hotel. No bugs! Pretty comfy beds. They are on a platform close to the floor. Amenities nice. River was great to sit at and relax. Pool area clean however, could not sit in the hot tub as it burned our eyes. Too much chemicals. The pictures make the rooms and pool area look large. They are NOT! Walls are very thin, can hear everything. On days I did not have the "do not disturb" sign on the door, housekeeping did give new towels but, only made 1 bed, did not sweep or anything. My son lost his phone while getting breakfast and went to the front desk and twice was told it wasn't there. He asked to see camera footage to see who picked it up, they said no. He asked to check lost and found, the front desk person said he wasn't allowed in there and they had nothing in it. She rolled her eyes and acted like he was bothering her. My daughter goes the 3rd time. The first worker was there and says to the other " he lost his phone but we don't have it" and once again rolls her eyes. My daughter insists on camera footage and to check lost and found herself. This second worker takes them to the room where lost and found/ laundry/ housekeeping lockers are(the place the 1st worker said they weren't allowed) and guess what? She finds his phone!! NOT in lost and found but in a housekeepers locker/cubby hole thing!! She " forgot" to put it in lost and found!! So if my daughter wasn't persistent in looking, the 1st worker would never have looked and his phone would've been kept🤔"

"The staff was very friendly and professional. Everything seemed to be clean and very nice. The couch and recliner was a bit uncomfortable but we didn’t spend a lot of time there so our stay was nice. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The balcony was very nice with a lovely view of the creek. We really enjoyed watching the geese hanging out near the creek as well. Also it was nice to be able to do our laundry before we left for home. Overall we enjoy our stay very much!"

"A bit inconsistent. Lousy bedding (who still uses those old scratchy, brown blankets of 30 years ago anymore) , uncomfortable mattress made getting deep sleep difficult. Bed made loud popping noise when getting in or out of bed. Heat/AC noise too invasive for total peace. Pools were great as advertised. Staff was awesome. Very roomy room. Flooring, table and chair, walk in shower were a plus. Location not very good. Better to be 1-2 miles closer to Sevierville."
