"Everything was totally fine except there was like one outlet in the entire room and the mini fridge was inexplicably loud when it would turn on and back off. It woke me up several times and I thought something serious was happening, but then it was just the fridge :/"

"My sister and I needed a very last minute place to stay after our VRBO rental was not what we thought. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and very help. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only issue is the area, it’s a bit of a drive if you want to shop however, one minute up the road is Murdoch’s restaurant and they had delicious food. We ate there twice. Just make sure to make a reservation. All in all it was a nice stay and we definitely suggest staying there."

"Great place and great location...walkable to much of Manchester. Only suggestion is to improve WiFi. I was in the Victoria house and I couldn't access the WiFi. But that is minor--overall very happy with The Palmer House."

"The lodge was amazingly convenient on the main highway. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Robin was working and he was very professional and friendly. Only reason I would not give it five stars is that the room itself was very basic and simple. Very outdated. Reminded me of a Ramada Inn. So $350/night (off season) and the room wasn’t very nice. Also the highway in front of the lodge is very loud with nonstop loud pickup trucks and cars. I understand this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but just something to be aware of. However, a very positive experience."

"It's a great place to stay! I've been there several times in different seasons. Off-season or leaf peeper season the free breakfast is a lot less than the free breakfast during ski season. During ski season AKA winter, eggs, waffles, pancakes etc however during other seasons they only offer cold cereal, milk bagels toast and juice and coffee of course. Other than that it's a fantastic place and they're dog friendly"

"We stayed in room 106 Room, Lake View (Lodge). It was perfect. Super easy checkin, exceptionally clean room, well maintained property, and we had an amazing view. The Lodge has a fantastic Tap Room with a fantastic menu that seems to be loved by both the locals and tourist which say a lot! The property offers everything you could want/need in any season. I would highly recommend and will return! Excellent stay!"
