"The moment we pulled up we were greeted with the the most friendly vallet attendant. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful as well as we were not sure where to park the car at first but one phone call to the front desk aa she noticed us parked and assured us we were in the right spot. The check-in was easy. We were given our keycards and we went up to our room on the 7th floor. The rooms was very clean and spacious. I always like to look around the room before unpacking. I did have to request for some fresh sheets as one the beds sheets had stains. They brought them up within a few minutes later. As i was about to place the new ones on i noticed stains on those as well. I just gave up and slept ontop of the clean comforter. The shower/bathroom area was nice. The room itself was nice and bright with all the modern touches. We did not use the gym."

"Everything was adequate. Its a little dated and not super clean (meaning stained carpet) - but honestly we were at another hotel for a conference int he same city and the other hotel was worse (also a Marriott)."

"This was a great place to stay. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Ed communicated with us quickly which was greatly appreciated when our original booking in Norfolk fell through. We enjoyed our stay in Portsmouth and would stay here again "
